Do You Feel Stuck Or "In A Hole"?

Aug 10, 2021

I hope you've had a good weekend.

It's common to feel stuck sometimes like we don't know what to do, or we find ourselves in a situation that we feel like we can't get out of.

When that happens, sometimes there really is just nothing that we 'Know' to do in that moment. Getting 'unstuck' in these situations is simply about understanding the safety of our discomfort and emotional experience such that we no longer need to try and fix them.

Sometimes though, we DO (on some level) actually have a sense of what we 'Know' to do, but it can feel incompatible with our sense of identity and "who we are".

When this happens you might hear objections in your thinking such as "I can't do X, because that would make me uncaring, selfish, weak or a failure".

As the world continues to change and evolve at such a fast pace, it seems to me that many of us are being moved to evolve who we have known ourselves to be and embrace new versions of ourselves.

These versions may contradict our current senses of identity.

In today's video I speak to how a greater understanding of the mind and our human experience can help to make this personal evolution more graceful.
